Marvel’s Eternals made it two out of two, after topping the UK Box Office once again.

The film, which stars Gemma Chan, Richard Madden & Angelina Jolie, took a further £2.9m to take its tally to £10.5m domestically.

The latest action-packed vehicle for James Bond remained in second spot, closing in on an overall total of £100m in the UK, while Denis Villeneuve’s epic Dune remained in third.

Oscar potential Spencer, with a powerhouse performance from Kristen Stewart, moved up the hierarchy to fourth, with animation sequel Boss Baby 2 held safely in fifth.

Tom Hardy’s Venom sequel, Let There Be Carnage, slipped to sixth, with spooky animation The Addams Family 2 in seventh.

Fellow comedy animation Ron’s Gone Wrong took eight, with Wes Anderson’s latest slice of whimsy, The French Dispatch, in ninth, and Edgar Wright’s chiller Last Night In Soho completing the top ten.
