Aquaman with clear water on rivals, remains top of US Chart
Jason Momoa savoured another week on top of the US chart, as Aquaman smashed all his opponents out of the water.
The DC superhero took another $30.7m to take its global tally to $945m, comfortably holding off his nearest rival in the US chart, new entry Escape Room, which took $18m on debut.
Mary Poppins dusted herself down after slipping to third, while animation Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse hung on to fourth spot.
Travis Knight’s take on Transformers, namely Bumblebee, which starred Hailee Steinfeld, slewed to fifth, with Clint Eastwood’s The Mule trudging down in sixth.
Adam McKay’s Vice, which stars Golden Globe winner Christian Bale, sliding to seventh, while Jennifer Lopez’s Second Act, Disney animation Ralph Breaks The Internet and Will Ferrell’s Holmes & Watson completing the top ten.
