Glass cleans up once more in the US
M Night Shymalan’s latest, Glass, continued to wipe the floor in the US, staying top for a third week, despite the weather and Superbowl.
The fantasy film, which stars James McAvoy, Bruce Willis and Samuel L Jackson, has now taken more than $88.6m in its three weeks.
Second place once again went to odd couple drama The Upside, with Kevin Hart and Bryan Cranston, while third spot went to Gina Rodriguez’s new entry Miss Bala with $6.7m.
Superhero Aquaman continued to surface in the top five, having taken $323m domestically thus far, with acclaimed animation Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse hanging on in fifth.
Awards’ nominated Green Book, starring Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali, parked up in sixth, with The Kid Who Would Be King in seventh.
A Dog’s Way Home, Escape Room and new entry Peter Jackson’s WWI restoration They Shall Not Grow Old complete the top ten.
