Lego Movie 2 on top & still awesome
The Lego Movie sequel topped the UK chart for a second week, taking its overall tally to £7.4m
The Chris Pratt and Elizabeth Banks animation just about held off the foster parents of Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne in Instant Family, which debuted in second spot with £2.46m.
That meant that How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World dropped out of the sky to third, while James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez collaboration Alita: Battle Angel fell from grace to fourth.
Elsewhere the critically acclaimed Green Book, starring Mahershala Ali and Viggo Mortensen, parked up in fifth, while two new entries hit the chart in sixth and seventh with horror sequel Happy Death Day 2U and Joe Cornish’s King Arthur version, The Kid Who Would Be King.
Acclaimed drama If Beal Street Could Talk, M Night Shyamalan’s Glass and Oscar frontrunner The Favourite complete the top ten.
The true story of war correspondent Marie Colvin, A Private War, opened in 13th.
