Pennywise terrifies audiences to top UK Chart
It: Chapter Two debuted in top spot in the UK Box Office on its opening weekend.
The Stephen King horror sequel, starring James McAvoy and Jessica Chastain, opened with £7.3m, knocking Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywod into second place.
Gerard Butler’s Angel fell once more into third, with Disney’s The Lion King in fourth position, having amassed £73m thus far.
A new entry in the form of Polish drama Polityka opened in fifth spot, with family adventurer Dora And The Lost City Of Gold in sixth.
Toy Story 4 slipped down the pecking order to seventh, with action adventure Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw moving to the slow lane in eighth.
Secret Cinema’s Casino Royale and Seth Rogen produced comedy Good Boys complete the top ten.
