Ralph Breaks its box office rivals for second week
Box office incumbent Ralph Breaks The Internet continued his winning streak, after taking a further £2.4m.
The Disney animation, featuring the voices of John C Reilly and Sarah Silverman, held on to its crown and has now taken more than £7.4m.
The runner up spot went to The Grinch, which grumpily climbed back up the chart to second, having taken in excess of £19m in its five weeks, while Michael B Jordan’s Creed II remained on its feet in third.
J K Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald started to lose it magic after dipping to fourth, with Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody proving it wasn’t a Flash in the pan after taking just shy of £44m in its seven weeks.
Sixth spot went to the kid friendly Nativity Rocks!, while seventh went to newcomer The Old Man And The Gun, starring Robert Redford in potentially his final film role.
Fellow new entry Sorry To Bother You, from Boots Riley, debuted in eighth place, with Event Cinema’s The Nutcracker – ROH London 2018 opening in ninth, and Taron Egerton’s Robin Hood completing the top ten
