Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker continued its dominance in the UK Box Office Chart.

The final film in the franchise, as of now, took a further £9.3m to take its overall tally to just shy of £40m in two weeks, and comfortably holding off its nearest challenger, Dwayne Johnson sequel, Jumanji: The Next Level.

Greta Gerqwig’s accomplished adaptation of Little Women, starring Florence Pugh and Saoirse Ronan, debuted in third spot with £3.5m, with Disney musical Frozen II sliding down to fourth, beating Cats, in fifth, by a whisker.

New entries in the form of Will Smith animation Spies In Disguise and John Cena family comedy Playing With Fire opened in sixth and seventh with £1.4m and 762k respectively, while Rian Johnson’s murder mystery Knives Out slipped to eighth.

Indian comedy drama Good Newwz opened in ninth with £295k, with festive rom com Last Christmas, penned by Emma Thompson, completing the top ten.
