Super Sonic remains on top in US
Prickly blue videogame sensation, Sonic The Hedgehog, topped the bill once again in the US.
The film, which features Ben Schwartz and Jim Carrey, bagged another $26.3m to pass the $100k mark in its second week, while fellow family favourite, Call Of The Wild, featuring Harrison Ford and based on Jack London’s classic book, debuted in second with $24.8m.
Harley Quinn and The Birds Of Prey slipped to third, while Katie Holmes’ horror Brahms: The Boy II opened in fourth with an underwhelming $5.9m.
Will Smith’s Bad Boys’ outing slid to fifth, while World War 1 drama 1917 fell to sixth.
Blumhouse’s Fantasy Island sank to seventh, while Oscar-winner Parasite dipped to eighth.
Jumanji sequel, The Next Level, and romance The Photograph, starring LaKeith Stanfield, complete the top ten.
