US audiences opt for Freaky Friday 13th
Horror bodyswap comedy Freaky sliced its way to the top of the US Chart on debut.
The Blumhouse film, which stars Kathryn Newton and Vince Vaughn, opened with $3.7m.
That left the Kevin Costner crime drama Let Him Go in second spot, while Robert De Niro comedy The War With Grandpa slipped to third.
Horror flick Come Play lay in fourth with Liam Neeson’s Honest Thief losing his touch in fifth.
Elsewhere Christopher Nolan’s Tenet dipped to sixth after 11 weeks, while Disney’s reissue of Guardians Of The Galaxy opened in seventh.
Thriller True To The Game 2, a reissue of Toy Story, and new entry Come Away, starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Angelina Jolie complete the top ten.
