Wonder Woman 1984 tops the UK chart once more

DC superhero Wonder Woman topped the bill at the UK Box Office in its sixth week.

The film, which stars Gal Gadot, Kristen Wiig and Chris Pine, took £72k to take its tally to £1.37m,

Rerelease of the classic Macaulay Culkin Home Alone rolled into second spot, with fantasy Come Away, starring David Oyelowo, Angelina Jolie and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, in third place.

Elsewhere Hugh Jackman and Zak Efron hit the right notes once again with the reissue of The Greatest Showman, while Melissa McCarthy’s latest comedy Superintelligence lay in fifth.

Reissues of Elf and The Lion King took sixth and seventh, while Superman’s parents Kevin Costner and Diane Lane claimed eighth spot in Western drama Let Him Go.

Liam Neeson’s Honest Thief and the re-entry of Michael Caine Christmas classic Muppet Christmas Carol complete the top ten.
